1.Introduction

• 序言

為了研究 Cloud 中的 IaaS(Infrastructure as a Services)，參考Amazon EC2 的概念，建構虛擬機器的 Cluster，使用 Open Source 的 XEN 和 Lustre ，使用者可以動態的新增所需的虛擬機器，此虛擬機器因特地用途而產生（例如：MPI Cluster，Hadoop Cluster...），而虛擬機器 Images 存放於高效能的 Lustre FS 來提昇I/O效能，亦可以利用分散的硬碟來做到 VM Images 的統一管理。

Install XEN	2008-09	Cloud platform	若是用source安裝會有問題，目前先用套件來安裝，問題尚待解決。目前在ubuntu 8.04 Server AMD64上，用source安裝XEN 3.1.3成功，也可以正試啟動VM，VM的網路也順暢。接下來則正式測試此XEN Kernel與lustre Kernel的整合和穩定性。
